The photographs of Janette’s Memorial Ikebana
flower arrangements were taken by multi-talented San
Francisco Bay Area artist Lise Gulassa. Lise’s
artwork includes painting, collage, ceramics, jewelry
design, documentary photography as well as Ikebana
flower arranging.
The photographs in the book “Fortunate: A Personal
Diary of 9/ll” are a personal collection of
Janette MacKinlay and include her own as well as those
of Ed Caruolo, Gene Daly, Joe DiStefano, Lise Gulassa,
Jim Lecce, Alain McLaughlin, Jimmy Smith and Diane
Troy.
